ನಡೆದಂತೆ ನುಡಿನುಡಿದು
ನುಡಿದನಡೆ ಮರೆಯದಿರು


ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಗುಂಗಿನಲಿ, ಮುನ್ನಡೆಗೆ
ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿಯ ಬರೆಯದಿರು


"ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆ - ಹಿಂದೆ ನುಡಿ"ಗಳನೇರಿಸಿ ಮುಡಿಗೆ
ನುಡಿದಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತಿರು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗದ ನುಡಿಯದಿರು

                To the lost man 

When oft you speak of things all lost,

Curse the past for all the same

How the words spoken old

Lay forgotten in the sway

When oft drowning in the past

Nostalgic of the things all lost 

Why ink the prologue of descent's hike

Why retrace the steps against the stride.

Why not take the forward march

As been said since time so old

And totter up the onward path

And make it life's frontal goal

Act on words all spoken now

Which have said all along

Yet never again grace all things 

With perfidious favour, the impossibility's score

Let this be done forever and ever

And for all eternity now......
